I know this isn’t a crazy rare car or anything, but this pulled up across the street from my house yesterday afternoon. I grabbed my camera and shot a few stealthy photos of it (really, I was just trying not to look like an idiot spying on his neighbors). I ended up going out and talking to the guy who pulled up in it. Turns out it’s my neighbor’s son and he just rolled into town in this bad boy.
He flew down to California to buy the car from a guy in Beverly Hills, CA and drove it back. It’s a 2006 Cayman S with only 15,000 miles on it. It has upgraded 19″ Kinesis wheels and a Tubi exhaust. It sounded amazing when he fired it up an took off.
A great looking car and it sounds like he got a steal on it. I love the wheels.

NICE! I am usually not a fan of black out wheels but there are some cars that pull it off, This is one!
Now THAT’S a fast / sweet looking Car. I’ll make sure to rebalance the Porsche scales by flying up to Oregon and driving a Porsche down to southern California.

Seriously though, that is one sweet ride. I love the Cayman – and the Cayman S is even better. It is a legit performer too, 0-60 in 4.9secs. The wheels are tough to see from this distance, but the color matching sure does look good, and I’m sure the Tubi exhaust sounds great. Nice ride.

not sure if I understand the Cayman / TT comparison
i got an iphone so i could take shots of porsches as i saw them around town. but it takes to bloody long to get the phone out and snap a shot because the car has already blown by. maybe i should drive through parking lots more
