Win A Porsche Design ????

pd

We've got a new little giveaway for you to enter. This one is easy. Ruthless Bookie has volunteered to spend an entire day of his life taking pictures of all the Porsches he can find in his area. These will be Porsches "in the wild" meaning no Porsche Dealership cars will count. One picture per car (so there won't be 20 shots of the same car).

So what's up for grabs? Well, we're going to keep that a bit of a secret. I will tell you it's something very cool from the Porsche Design store and an item that I would gladly own myself. (Remember getting grab bags when you were a kid? I loved those things!)

To enter, all you need to do is submit the total number of different Porsches you think Ruthless will be able to photograph on September 30, 2009. Send your entry to contest @ porscheperfect.com (you'll want to take out the spaces in that email address if you're doing the old cut and paste thing).

The only rules:

  • 1 entry per person
  • Entries must be submitted no later than 11:59 PDT on September 29, 2009
  • If more than one person submits the correct number of pictures taken, a winner will be drawn randomly from the correct entries
  • If no one submits the correct number of pictures taken, a winner will be drawn from the entries closest (either higher or lower) to the correct number
  • Winner will be determined no later than October 5, 2009
  • Winner will be notified BY EMAIL

So let's get some entries going!

If you want to spend a little time perusing your potential winner's bounty, check out the Porsche Design store at Porsche-Design.com.

Where is rb located again? Is he in New York? Location makes a big difference here.

I've tried this a few times in my heavily populated Porsche area. It's harder than you'd think. May I ask a question or two? Where does Ruthless live? How many hours is he going to spend on this project?

You may ask, but it's up to ruthless if he wants to give any details.

This sounds like a good idea. I was going to suggest after the Porsche giveaway to have some smaller, more frequent giveaways. This was exactly the sort of thing I had in mind. Anyways, keep up the good work.

    As stated, no Porsche Dealerships.

How long will I be out there hunting – depends on my mood.

Weather is not a determining factor.

    No duplicates.

I will not be privy to your votes, keep them to yourselves so you can't accuse me of playing favorites.

    No animals will be harmed.

All bribes will be considered, but cash is king in my book.

Porsche is actually an engineering firm, that went into making cars as a sideline. The concept was the company should be run by engineers not by businessmen who were doing what was necessary to increase profits to please the shareholders.

I Think the bodies are made by Karmann coachwork and many of the other parts are bought from Volkswagen and various other suppliers. If someone has enough money they hire Porsche to design a car for them.
