3 New Programs From TECHART
Hot on the heels of the GTStreet R customization (actually they were all announced at the same time), TECHART has released information on three more customization options for Porsche cars. Two are for the Porsche Panamera and one is for the Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S.
TECHART GTStreet R: Pure Driving Ecstasy
TECHART announced the GTStreet R based on the Porsche 911 Turbo yesterday. In true Porsche 911 Turbo fashion, the same mystique that has always held a special place in people's hearts since 1974, has been captured by TECHART in their latest interpretation. I simply LOVE the black with red accents. I was just mentioning to someone yesterday that there is something crazy sweet about black sports cars, especially when they have racing red sprinkled tastefully here and there.
2011 Porsche 911 Turbo S = Sweetness!
It's been 5 years since we last saw a new Porsche 911 Turbo S. For those of us who love the 911 Turbo, that seems like an eternity. Finally, no more waiting and we can get to our standard drooling and ogling behavior. And there will be PLENTY to drool and ogle over.
Porsche 911 Turbo Video
You already know I've got a soft spot for the Porsche 911 Turbo. It's safe to assume that I'll post just about anything even remotely related to it. Yesterday I came across this Press Teaser video on the 911 Turbo that I found mesmerizing. Just love seeing those cars, the windy roads and hearing them rip by. I also love the two cars facing each other on the bridge. Porsche has a few press pictures similar to that with those same cars.
0 to 60 in a 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo…While Drinking a Coke!
I'm sure lots of you are going to be haters on this story/video. That's okay. It's just downright entertaining to me (I know, I'm a simple man at heart). At least he did this on a closed road/track. No need to bring up my Porsche 911 driving while eating an ice cream cone, which again, was a safe drive. It was slow and no traffic, so no need to come after me again on that one.

2010 Porsche 911 Turbo ROCKS!!!
Don't you love it when stuff in print supports what you personally feel? This happened to me this past weekend when I came across an article written on Autoblog.com about the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo. Here's how the article opens:
Porsche 911 Turbo S On It's Way?
We've seen Turbo S versions of Porsche's flagship 911 the last 2 model cycles and even a 944 Turbo S towards the end of it's production run. That leads me (among many other people) to believe that Porsche will be giving us new fodder for our dream car wish lists sometime soon.
911 Turbo History Video
Ruthless Bookie came across this video on YouTube and sent it over to share with everyone. This is a great historical view of the 911 Turbo along with some cool footage of each model from the initial release in 1974. Thanks Bookie!
2 New Porsche Mini-Sites To Check Out
I was emailed info about both of these Porsche mini-sites over the past few days and thought I'd make sure everyone knows about them. Maybe we should just make Fridays officially "Porsche Time Waster Fridays". Porsche typically does an excellent job with their model specific mini-sites representing a nice little "time waster" for Porsche fans of all shapes and sizes. For me, they always seem to draw me into the experience of the car they're representing and I walk away wanting whatever model I've been looking at.
New Porsche 911 Turbo = AWESOMENESS!!!
Porsche revealed some specs on Friday about the new 911 Turbo they'll be showing off at the Frankfurt Auto Show next month. The Porsche is going to be dang FAST with nearly 500 hp on tap ready to blast you from 0 to 60 mph in a mere 3.4 seconds. Hold on to your hat, but keep the pedal to the medal and you'll scream up to 194 mph.
