Porsche 356 Closer To A Comeback?
Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid Frist Drive Video
This is another great Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid video. This time with some driving footage. The video was shot in Monterey California a few days before the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Porsche 918 Spyder Sound Video
This is a short little video in which you can hear the sound of the new Porsche 918 Spyder. What a great note. Will sound even better on the open road I bet.
Porsche 918 Spyder Pricing
It looks like Porsche has released preliminary pricing for the Porsche 918 Spyder concept car. Bloomberg is reporting it will be priced at 500,000 euros ($630,000) topping the previous most expensive production Porsche by $59,000. The Porsche Carrera GT was priced at $571,000. USA Today is indicating that at least 2,000 people have already committed to buying the 918 Spyder if it actually rolls off the production line.
Porsche 911 GT2 RS Video
I think they should put Porsche videos on their own cable TV channel. I'd sit and watch them all day. Or maybe they should combine 24 with Porsche TV. Think of how many more bad guys Jack Bauer could track down if they put him into a Porsche 911 GT2 RS?!
Porsche 928 Successor?
Several car sites are asking the obvious question about the sketch of the 2 door Porsche Grand Touring car above. It's an image used on the Porsche Consulting home page. Of course the speculation is that this is a representation of a 2-door Porsche…a 928 successor perhaps.
Weekly Porsche Wrap
2l7registry.com dedicated to the 2.7 liter 911 – I received an email last week from the French owner of a site dedicated to the Porsche 911 2.7 liter. These are 1974 thru 1977 911's and have generally been frowned upon due to reliability issues. I remember reading Bruce Anderson's monthly technical Q&A section in Excellence Magazine and he would always poo poo the 2.7 liter 911 saying it was a model to be avoided. What's interesting is a I happened on a Panorama Magazine article last year that talked about what a great bargain the 2.7 liter 911 had become. I came mighty close to a screaming deal on a decent 1977 911 about 6 months ago. If you're a fan of those three years of the 911's life, check out the site here: 2l7registry.com.
Mini Cooper challenges Porsche to a duel – I'm sure you've already read about this, but I had to comment on this for two reasons. First, what the heck is Mini thinking? Why not at least choose a Read more on Weekly Porsche Wrap…
Porsche Pickup Truck Concept
It's always amazing to me some of the concepts people come up with for things they love. How to make something better, different, etc. It's also crazy what Photoshop skills people posses. This concept car is from designer Nouphone J. Bansasine. He decided a Porsche TranSport Truck is something the Porsche lineup is missing.

900 Porsche 918 "Buyers" & Made By Hand Videos
Here's a couple of things I came across today worth mentioning.
First is a Bloomberg post claiming that Porsche has 900 potential buyers for the Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid. “I’m confident that we will soon reach the threshold of 1,000,” was the comment Wolfgang Duerheimer (Porsche's development chief) mentioned in an interview at the Beijing Auto Show. “We need 1,000 seriously interested people to make a sound business case.”
