New Shark Werks 997 GT3 Track Exhaust
Alex over at Shark Werks sent me an email this past week letting me know about a new exhaust system they released designed to save weight in the rear as well as increase horsepower and torque. Coupled with their EVOMSit software tuning, you have some decent performance gains while also enjoying a cup car-like sound.
Porsche Tuner TECHART Announces Winter Wheels
At first I thought this was kind of a weak press release, and I suppose for a company like TECHART, with the products they are capable of producing, it is a bit on the light side. However, after reading it through and thinking about it a bit, it's actually a pretty cool product offering. The product is TECHART Winter Wheels designed to give you all the driving pleasure you experience in the summer months under winter conditions.
5 MUST HAVE Porsche iPhone Apps
I was browsing through the Apple iTunes store today and decided to plug "Porsche" into the search bar, just for the heck of it. Here's what came up for me in the results:
SharkWerks Exhaust on 2010 Porsche 997 GT3
I'm not usually a big fan of the exhaust videos. Sure I love hearing a car with the sound tuned "just right", but a 10 minute video of some dude revving his engine just isn't for me. That said, this is a pretty cool video of some before and after tuning footage of a 2010 Porsche 997 GT3. I like the stationary and the driving footage. No need to watch it all the way to the end. In fact, if you get to the point where they guy is fishing for a plastic shark out of the glovebox, you've gone too far.
AC Lifts Performs The Ultimate Auto Disappearing Act
This has got to be one of the COOLEST things a person (I'll refrain from saying "guy" because I'm sure there are a lot of ladies out there who will feel the same) could want in a garage. Think about it. One of the problems with liking cars or having that as your hobby is garage space. Sure you can rent out warehouse space or an airplane hanger somewhere, but it will never be the same as having space at your house. I've personally passed on a couple of different cars in the last 9 months that I would have strongly considered had I had the space for them.

The Best Part of Porsche Panamera Ownership
What does plunking down $100k+ on your brand new Porsche Panamera get you? Only the coolest keyfob you've ever seen! A key in the shape of……well……a Porsche Panamera. Some people will think it's cool. Others will think it's stupid.
Fanatec Porsche 911 GT3 RS Wheel/Pedal Setup
I would have to say, and I'm venturing to guess that pretty much everyone will agree with me, that the next best thing to actually DRIVING the Porsche of your dreams like a GT3 RS is driving a gaming version of the car. For me, though, one of the rubs of playing racing games is the wonky controllers you have to use that don't even come close to replicating the driving experience.
Put Your Porsche on the Perfect Slice of Metal
I've never fancied myself much of a wheel guy. Always seemed like too many choices and potential screw-ups when choosing wheels. Choose the wrong ones and your sweet ride turns into a hideous bomb. However, driving the Giveaway Porsche and looking at lots of exotic cars has started to give me an appreciation for what a nice set of aftermarket wheels can do for a car's looks.
