Last Minute Porsche Christmas Gifts
This year Christmas has snuck up on me a bit. I've actually intended to write a post highlighting some Christmas gifts for the Porsche enthusiast for almost a month now. For some reason, though, I haven't gotten around to it. Couple that with my tendency to procrastinate and, well, you'll have a good picture of what a frantic mess the week before Christmas (next week!!!) will be for me.
Porsche Design Contest Winner's Bounty
Since neither of the people I sent Winner's Bounty to for our little Porsche spotting contest have responded on the blog with thoughts or comments about what I sent them (Andrea, our winner, and Ruthless Bookie, who put in a day taking pictures to make this happen), that means either they didn't receive what I sent or think the prize sucked. I'm guessing it's the latter which is okay, but I did want to at least let everyone know what was up for grabs.

I'm sure many of you are going to laugh. You might even call me a fool before it's all done, but Porsche made me feel like one special guy late last week. I got home from work only to find a package waiting for me from The Motherland…well, the North American version of The Motherland. I would have to say, and I'm venturing to guess that pretty much everyone will agree with me, that the next best thing to actually DRIVING the Porsche of your dreams like a GT3 RS is driving a gaming version of the car. For me, though, one of the rubs of playing racing games is the wonky controllers you have to use that don't even come close to replicating the driving experience.
